I applied for ESTA online giving my passport details I was not certain whether my previous application was still valid. The website conveyed their expertise in checking documents and giving 24/7 support. The fees seemed vague but I understood the current fee was $14 dollars. when I put my debit card details in it did not show the final charge and before I knew it the payment went through.There was no number to call them to check what they had charged.
I was shocked to see they had charged me £83.46p and only to later discover that my previous ESTA was still valid.
The site does not portray the cost very clearly.
I am truely very upset just before I go on holiday
