Hi. I recently purchased a steam shower/sauna combo unit online. On website, the unit was advertised as ETL certified. In reality, it was not. I contacted the company, and after over a week of trying to confirm the ETL certification, they admitted that it was not. I can not use the unit, since it is not going to pass building inspection. What actions can i take against the company that sold it to me

As the owner of BathroomGetaways, this customer got a 100% full refund for his order. We 100% acknowledged the mistake. Our website had the model listed as ETL Certified via a slip of our web development team. After being made aware of the issue, we did not hesitate to offer a full 100% refund (which was provided), and also arranged for return shipment. This is the ONLY time in our 5 years of being in business we have ever made this mistake and the only time in our 5 years of being in business that we've ever had to issue a refund of this sort. We stand by the products we sell and the service we provide.
Customer claimed it was "false advertising", hence the frustration above, but it was truly mix-up by our web development firm, and upon the realization, we immediately updated the website and rectified the situation with the customer.
