I was enticed into a FREE TRIAL offer of these 2 facial wrinkle reducing creams. I paid the $3.97 and $4.95 for shipping and handling required to obtain the 2 trial products. One product arrived in 3-4 days-I never used it because it was to be used in conjunction with the 2nd product which has yet to arrive, it's now May 7,2014. I sent away for these April 18, 2014. I was never aware of the 14 day policy, where they automatically bill your bank account for 2 full size products, in my case $135.00, because it was NOT visible, or I would not have ordered the free offer. If its a 30 day free trial, how can they start billing you 14 days after free trial purchase, especially when I never received both products . I ordered both at the same time? I haven't even tried the product because I am still waiting for the 2nd free trial product. So yesterday May 6th, I called Phoenix Labs and was told they hadn't sent the 2nd product yet but it would arrive May 9th, thats 22 days after I made the order-I live about 30 miles from their Labs!!! I was informed that my 14 days had expired and they are billing me $135.00 and sending the 2 full size products. This is what they do-hold back 1 item til past the 14 day expiration. I went ballistic of course. I called my bank who verified a pending amount of $135.00 and that there was nothing they can do to stop payment. I re-called Phoenix Labs to cancel all future charges. I hope it worked but I am still saddled with the $135.00 charge. I can return the products if they arrive, they said, with a 20% re stocking charge on both items-that means I am billed $27.00 and just hope they will refund the remainder to my account. I can say one thing for sure-I will NEVER fall for this type of offer again and warn everyone out there to not fall for it. It is a SCAM. Maybe their product will erase wrinkles ( I highly doubt it ) but I will never know because I have not used it and will not. Instead I will embrace my wrinkles-I am 71!! Please stay away from this company and any other free trial offers you see as a pop-up ad on the computer. They are a fraud.
I feel so stupid and duped. I should have known better. Why are they allowed to do this and why are they still in business? I am not finished with them. I plan to alert as many people as possible to stay away from this company.
Be aware of these thieves. When you call the company, you are speaking to a person from India but claiming they are in Sparks, Nevada. On the second call to them I asked where they were and they stammered and said the U.S. I asked where in US and they had to ask someone there where they were and he came back with Nevada. I presume they are in India. They are bloodsuckers of the lowest degree. I am not a person who can afford this charge-I am a single senior, disabled, on a very low income. I made a very big mistake. DON'T YOU.
