Back in Feburary a young man came to my home, claiming that he was selling magazines or taking donations so that he could go to Spain. He said he was a part of a group that sends kids to different countries so that they can perform in different types of sports like BMX bike riding and trick skateboarding. He laid on the charm pretty strong. I like to try and help different organizations when I can, so I wrote him a check for a magazine subscription. He told me I should receive my magazines soon after. Well here it is 8 months later and no magazines. After talking with a co-worker today, I learned the same group of kids sold a subscription to her but instead they said they were selling for a speech tournament. The way she described the kid that came to her house lead me to believe it was the same person that came to mine.
