I noticed that UK Pounds 11.95 (20 US Dollars)has been paid out of my Bank to this company today. I went on to their website (www.playflex.net) and there is a UK Address, and telephone number - I rang the number and was answered by a Call Centre in Bangladesh - they say that this is the annual charge for membership, and if I have not taken out membership with the card details they have and my name - I should report the matter to my bank and tell them to ring the company. They will not refund the money - there is no way anyone has access to my Debit Card, and it is always in my wallet.
Looking back on the telephone call - to ascertain where the payment had come from, she asked me for the first four numbers and the last four numbers on my Debit Card and what was the name on my credit card - she then confirmed that the price was a years subcription for access to games (I am 78 and I don't play games) - she said my grandchildren could have done it, but I have no Grandchildren - has someone 'creamed' my Debit Card - or is this a scam.
