I received a call from a Mr. William Goodman at mybookinggenie. Mr Goodman claimed I had purchased a vacation plan (time share?) in 2008 or up to 18 months prior to 2008 for $498.00. He said that because I have not traveled on the tickets he alleges that I purchased I now owe $1398.00. He offered to help by selling me a package that would include the first 3 destinations plus another 3 destinations for $698.00. According to Mr. Goodman I could then sell all the vacations back to mybookinggenie in 6 months. If I did not purchase the package then Mr Goodman said he would have no recourse but to turn my account over to collections for $1398.00. He was unable to tell me the name of the marketing company involved, the credit card I allegedly used, or the date the purchase was allegedly made. I have seen several other complaints with the same story. I believe this is a scam.
