Received a letter from "Promotion Motion Manager" - advising we had won 2nd place in EU & North America Consumer Reward Promotion Draw for customers of Wal-Mart, Sears, Home Depot, Safeway, etc. Enclosed was a check for $4,800. Address was NJ, but phone number was written funny, so I checked to see where area code was located (Mississippi). I phoned the number in letter to ask for details and mentioned NJ, MS, and Dublin were all referenced in letter. A guy came on the phone and proceeded to tell me they were worldwide and they weren't going to change the way they listed phone numbers etc. Asked for my Claim Number and said, because of my attitude, he was going to cancel my winnings. Thank- goodness! Because I assume he would have asked for the $2,800 Delivery and non EU tax before the check they sent had a chance to bounce. Wells Fargo said.
