Contacted ad posted for 1966 mercury montery s55,posting ID #2671844390,ad stated car had very little rust and very dependable,called the man and he reafirmed the car was really dependable and it didn't have any rust that he could find and the paint was a 7 out of a 10 and i shoulden't have a problem driving it to fl.from russelville arkansas where he lived and had the car.I called him several times and he always told me the same thing so i purchased a one way ticket and took a greyhound bus there,a 24 hour ride one way.After ariving and spending the night at a motel we went and looked at the car and it was in real bad shape,the trunk floor was rusted out and had fiberglass covering the holes it had holes around the wheel well's,the bottom of the rokers were rusted bad and he tried telling me it was just air bubbles under the paint,the gutter rails were rusted pretty bad,areas of the paint had been touched up and i could put my hand thru the front passenger floor board,then he admitted to me that there was a lot of rust damege.
I told the man that i took his word on the condition of the car and rod a bus for 24 hours to buy it just to find out it was to fare gone,he asked me how much my ticket cost me and that he would pay 1/2 of my ticket back and so i had to ride a bus back home.
I see he has listed the ad again,would some one please do something about this.
