Today Morning I got call from and Unknown number from Norwalk CT ( 2034340838) Company name was Auto Discount. Person on the other end offered me $100 Rebate Card which can be used at Walmart or Any major retail stores in US. They told me I won in the lottery and have to pay just a fee of 4.95 and have to give my credit card details over the phone 3 times and say ok to few recordings over the phone which will eventually charge you more money on monthly basis. There have been few arguments went from my end as I wanted to confirm this as a SCAM and report it. They never gave me any information about the company nor their location. They were not even sharing their contact information and kept saying that you will get all details in your package after this call is completed. I immediately sensed that this is a fraudulent activity and reported to my Credit Card Bank immediately.
Please be aware of these SCAM : If any one calls you and tell you that you won something and provide your Credit Card information "DO NOT DO THAT".
I would strongly recommend that authority should take serious actions against these SCAMS.
