Received an e-mail saying i was approved for a loan for 5k, and i recently fill out a loan app. I had to do one of three things to secure the loan. HAve colateral, make 3 months payments, or buy an insurance policy for $350.00 incase of loss of job or short long term disability. the had me fax my bank statment, drivers license and pay stub. They sent me a loan contract. The contract and website looked legit. i sign it and send it back. Now its time to make the payment. They wanted me to Western union it to a Kathrin Anderson in Jamacia WI not Wisconsin ...West Indies. they e-mail they used was [email protected]. they claimed there was not other way to make the payment. I never sent the money because it just did not seem right. I recently tried calling the the number 877-689-1775 and a recording said no funds available. Sounds like a prepaid cell phone. I e-mail the national internet fraud website and other like this to let people know its a scam.
