I paid for a local phone number so that I could receive discounted phone calls from my son. The main company that the calls must go through is Global Tel Link. Jail call services furnish you with a local phone number so that the calls are approximately $5.00 instead of $20.00. Of course I had to pay a very high charge to get the local number. I also paid extra for a one hour activation which did not get activated. When you try to reach them to resolve problems, you can't. Anyway, the number has not been working ( neither is the number assigned to my sons girlfriend) and I have left countless msgs which no one returns. I have e-mailed them repeatedly with no luck. The number has not worked for over a week and I have put quite a bit of money on the account. They will not return phone calls or answer e- mails and I don't know what else to do. Please DO NOT waste your money with this company. All you will do is be frustrated and angry and lose your money!
