Ordered a dress from this company for my daughter's prom months ago. Paid a total of $199 (149.99 for dress plus fee for custom order and expedited shipping fee I had to pay to get the dress on time AFTER they told me it would be here on time. I received the dress and it was not what I ordered. The dress was more than 12 inches too long, the inner material and outer layer were bunched up at the waist where it was sewn together, the hem and seams were sewn crooked. I immediately notified them via email that the dress was wrong and I wanted to return it and get a refund. I requested a return merchandise form per their refund policy clearly stated on their website. They did not send the form ever. They asked me to send pictures to prove what I was saying. I sent them pictures and video of the dress with a tape measure attached. They told me to take it to a tailor and said I sent the wrong measurements for my daughter. I told them I had her professionally measured and followed their instructions. I told them I could not get a tailor to agree to fix the dress because it was so bad. They offered me $20 refund and say they are a new growing company operating on no profit yet they've been in business since 2011. The refund amount they offer has gone up to $65 and gone up and down over 300 emails back and forth. The refuse to honor their own refund policy which clearly states they refund if the error is theirs. This is clearly their error. Apparently, I'm not the only one since I have found hundreds of complaints across the internet regarding this company and their holding company fishinthesky. I have seen the very same dress I bought for $149.99 advertised on sale for as little as $89. Yet they tell me there was no profit for them in my sale. Their customer service is terrible, they don't know what they're doing, you get someone different answering your emails each time, they repeat things over and over, they tell me they have no authority to make decisions. When I ask to be put in contact with the owner or manager, they do not do that either. This company has ripped me off for $199. In addition, I had to buy off the rack retail for $150 for my daughter to attend her prom in April 2014. It's now September 2014, and I'm still waiting for my refund. Have offered to send the dress back and they do not want it back.
