I got a phone call at work from a man saying he had a state complaint against me. He wouldnt even tell me where he was calling from. He said there were 2 state officials on their way to my job to serve me papers for $760 and that i was going to have to post bail and work community service hours to pay this bill.
He said, "I know for a fact you got a loan from Shoreline in 2011."
I had no idea what he was talking about. I checked my account from 2011 and they put $200 in my account. I never authorized them to put that in there! My account was inactive for weeks after that deposit, so i had no idea that money was there. He said, "you have one hour to make this payment or we will send the cops as well." Next time i get any calls like this im calling my lawyer.!!
