Automated call claiming to be IRS and that it's important I call immediately. I knew right away it was a scam because IRS doesn't use automated calls. IRS will contact you via registered mail for serious issues. So I simply hung up in the middle of the message!
Research revealed the call came from 202-241-0883 in Washington DC, id'd as Ymax Oration. Ymax is inventor & distributer of the "Phone Jack" that uses the internet for phone calls. Makes them untraceable. Plus the callers can plug into any internet connection or Wi-Fi anywhere in the world, that's why there's so many phone numbers reported for them. ADVICE: Hang up as soon as you hear the term "IRS".
