I was cold-called by this Company about 2years ago, and offered an enhanced presence on Google. After consideration I agreed, giving my card details over the phone.

A year ago I had to cancel the card due to unrelated fraudulent activity. A month later I received a call saying that the month's payment could not be accessed. I explained the situation, but said that as I gad not noticed any increased contacts through a Google, I wished to cancel the agreement.

Six months ago I received an extremely aggressive call from the 'Debt Collection' department, demanding a sum of £475.31 that was owed, and unless I paid immediately this would be subject to a daily date of Interest of 8.5%. I was horrified, wondered how that could happen, rang the 0161 number for the Company, got the same man. Over a period of around 3-4 days he frightened me so much that I paid up, said I never wanted to hear from them again, wrote a letter as requested.

4 days ago I received a call from the exact same man, I recognised his voice and put the phone down. He left a message on my mobile to say that I owed a sum of £475.31 as of 23rd September, and as I had been trying to avoid contact with the Company, under Act blah blah 1998 this sum would be subject to a daily date of Interest of 8.5% since that date! and the matter would be forwarded to Debt Collection.

After legal advice I contacted the Police, it is now recorded on a Police files though they cannot proceed against him unless he threatened me personally. I am contacting all Complaints sites, and will report him to Trading Standards authorities. This Company needs to be closed down.

He has caused me a great deal of worry, upset and time to sort thus out, and I feel like applying to the Small Claims Court to get my money back paid for no reason due to his previous bullying threatening calls.

I have not at any time, had anything in writing from them; no Statement of Account, no Invoice, no requests for continuing monthly payments. No Contract, no Receipts, no normal Business practise. This Company is much more than a Scam, it is now making illegal attempts to bully people into paying large sums of money for no service, with no warning. The man who calls is plausible sounding, bullying, tries to frighten people into paying the sum requested;

a total Racketeer, the Company should be closed down.
