I have been looking for an apartment for 6 months. I've seen the WeTakeSection8.com website pop up a number of times but was reluctant to join for the $50 charge. Well, Mama always told me to trust my first mind. I ponied up the money. My last $50 in my account to enroll. It was utter garbage. The listings are outdated, many of the phine numbers are disconnected or belong to completely different compines. There are no true pictures of the apartments listed, other listings have a phone number attached to the site's automated line that delivers your messages to "directly" to the landlord but you get no confirmation or response back. Plus the big okey doke is that you will NEVER EVER speak to a live person. You are contacted via automated message or email from an automated nobody. This site is sham, scam, ponzy scheme to get your money with nothing to show for it. As hard as it is to find a decent place to live and even harder when on a program, this site feeds off of that and gives you the runaround. Don't waste your time or money on them. Throwing darts at the white pages or classifieds while blindfolded would get you better results.
