Received a letter from CC Recovery stating that we were past due and if we didn't pay they would report us and damage our credit report for up to 7 years; they provided a bogus recording although our GM knew he hadn't had that conversation. We were getting ready to write a letter disputing this claim, but instead did a little research on the Internet and found this site. It appears as though it truly is a scam and we will not acknowledge the letter or waste anymore time on them. I suppose our next step is to report this to the Better Business Bureau.
