I went on Craigslist and found someone who was selling Siberian Husky puppies. The owner stated she was having to move to the UK for 8 months and was doing some medical stuff in North Dakota, but she would have the puppy shipped. I was supposed to Western Union $180 dollars for the plane ticket for the puppy so I did. I then got an email stating I needed to pay $1,200 in insurance for the puppy. I told them no one told me I would have to have insurance and I could only pay $700. The seller, who I think is part of the scam, said she would pay $500. My contact person for the shipping agency's name is Chalot Ando Bienia and he stated their main hub was in Camaroon, which is where my money was going. Chalot then said because the seller made her payment so late my puppy would not be at my house till today at 8:30 am. I get a call from Chalot this morning at 8 stating I needed to send them another $890 for a city pet permit as the courier was in Austin so they could deliver my puppy. Chalot said the pet authority stated the dog needed a permit or it could not be delivered. Chalot at this point had stated all this money would be returned to me in cash when my puppy was delivered. I called the Austin Airport and asked them if they had a pet authority and did a pet need a city permit. Airport staff said there was no pet authority and pets did not need a city pet permit. I call Chalot back and told what what the airport said and he became very mad and told me I need to pay the money. While all this was happening the "seller" was begging me to pay the money because I would be abandoning the puppy. I didn't pay the pet permit and haven't heard from Chalot or the "seller" since about 3:00 pm today (6/26). Delta Pet Airway Transport is a scam and Chalot Ando Bienia is a con artist. I have lost $891 that I did not need to lose. I told Chalot he needed to refund my money but have not heard from him and his phone has been cut off. I have alerted Craigslist and want to prosecute Delta Pet Airway Transport and Chalot Ando Bienia.
