On August 24 I decided to try a "free trial" of Garcinia Cambogia. I filled out the order online. They called me back the next day saying my order did not go through. They started asking me all kinds of questions and I got suspicious. I said "Forget it. I don't want anything."
On September 11 I received a package (1 bottle of the product). Checked my credit card account. They had charged me for the "free trial," (total $9.47 on Aug 25). I also saw a charge of $136.33! I called them immediately. Here is what they told me:
The $9.47 in charges were for me to try out the product for 14 days (from the time it was ordered). If, before the end of the 14-day trial period, I did not like it, I could cancel the order - only IF I sent back the bottle! The $136.33 was to pay for that first bottle if I didn't cancel the order!
They say I have to send back the bottle at my own expense, or forfeit the $136.33. They claim they will credit that amount within 5 days of their receiving the bottle back.
However, their address is bogus. Their email address is bogus. I have now done some research. It is a scam.
