Received a Phone call to my cell from 610 857 3530. The caller,
James Carter,offered me $7000 in US Grant money to be
transferred to a bank acct, or credit card. His supposed superviser
Steven, got on line and I told him to send me a check as they
obvioulsly have my name and number they probably have my
address. He hung up saying he would have to check further.
I went to 411.com and checked the phone number. It is owned
by an Alan Eagle, 1 Leagle Way, Coatesville PA 19320-5550. My
name is B McClintock in Atlanta GA. & mail is (Personal Information Removed)
Call came in today, 11-11-11

- Got a call from the us gov't grant department (yeah right, gov't employees don't work on ANY weekend) from 610-857-3530. $7k grant for anything but smoking, booze, etc... For fun I played along and when it came time to verify my info to close the deal, I said to hold on a minute, and just sat the phone down. This went on for about 15 minutes, got back on the phone and asked if he seen the president since he worked in Washington. He said he didn't understand what the president had to do with my grant. So I chased that rabbit for a while and this guy was getting exasperated. I finally said I wasn't comfortable because I had heard of scams like this. The guy said he wasn't going to force me to take the free money and then said he thought I was making fun of him...then began dropping f bombs on me. I just laughed and said I was scamming him...more cursing on his part and he finally hung up... I love getting calls from these guys. I get their hopes up and make them wait while I find my checkbook or whatever and then just start a random conversation till they get mad and hang up.
