The complaint is against an online dating profile

International boundaries
Very long phone call, talking me through the process of showing many faults on PC. Asking for £160 for 2 years woth of "licence".
They showed me so many errors and faults that I eventually shelled out £89 for I years worth.
They then said they would clean it up.
As I watched the process all they seemed to do was uninstall AVG and install another FREE antivirus.
The rest I couldn't work out as they were mucking about with wallpaper.
I cannot find all the errors, so they must have done something....but maybe they put the errors there in the first place.
Do I have any rights or comeback on this?

- This is a TOTAL SCAM!!!! They called me and said that they were referred by Microsoft! All #'s they have called from are either inaccessible (disconnected), or answered with automation with no company name and tells you to leave a message. This scam has been reported on the news and you can find complaints all over the web! The same person that has called me at LEAST 8 times, and to that the FOUR times he called me tonight in only 10 minutes!! After my threats and yelling and hanging up on him, it did not deter him AT ALL! He tried to talk over me, in a VERY reasonable voice and did NOT HESITATE to call me back the next THREE calls! PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!! I am going to report them to the FBI since they are the ones that exclusively handle Internet scams. Hopefully they can shut them down for at least a little while! Better yet, if they could find them and make arrests. If not, they will most probably do it again under a different name!
