This young man had a booth at the Walmart entrance just inside the door past the registers. He approached me asking about who I used for cable, internet, and telephone. He went on to tell me how Time Warner always went up every yr., and that Direct TV did not do that. He asked my name and address so he could allegedly make sure he could get all services for me at my address. He gave me pricing of $ 122.00 per month, and went on to say my bill would not increase as long a I paid my bill on time. This was the beginning of the largest string of lies that I have heard in years. He could not take a cash payment and had to have my debit card for $ 20.95 that would be refunded if I changed my mind, which by the way would not cost me anything if I wanted to cancel. I was told that he was working everything out with A T & T for my phones and internet, and that it was available at my address, and I was pre-approved and everything was set. Needless to say, I heard one lie after another. They installed on Saturday and I canceled on Sunday. Even though I was told there was no charge repeatedly. Long story short, I had to pay Time Warner to come back out and reconnect my services. $40.00 and I chose to let Direct keep the $ 20.95 in order that they don't have access to my bank account because it was obvious that they were going to attempt to charge me monies underhandedly
