It is both depressing and demeaning to read other awful, angry and upsetting stories and to realise that I, too, have fallen for the scam. The old adage - "If it looks too good to be true - then it probably is" holds true. I ordered face cream at an Introductory Offer of £4.99. Suddenly my Credit Card bill shows a payment of £93 at the end of April and within days into May, another for £99.93. A second package has arrived, unasked for and it seems I have now paid the Introductory Offer [which is actually just the shipping costs] and the full cost [which must therefore be a breach of consumer trading] and now the full price for another pot of cream.Total of unagreed payments - £192.93. My credit card company has been helpful and will allow no further payments. I have written a letter of complaint to ARC Labs which will be sent to both addresses provided, but judging by the experiences of other people, I don't hold out much hope for the refund. As others have said, this unethical company should be hounded and shut down. How are they managing to get away with this, for so long? They are making people's lives a misery by their fraudulent and slippery dealings.
