David Benedict is the Facebook page that has been corresponding with my wife. Textbook Oil Rig scam but she cannot see through it. He is clearly grooming her for a bigger payday. As he became more aggressive she called him out so he switched up tactics and has been romancing her for the past week as a part of grooming her. He claims to be from the Chicago area and has corresponded using the number 312-973-1171. My wife and I had been in a rough patch of our marriage so the timing of this was opportune for the scammer.
