I received a phone call from a lady who said that due to a payday loan from 2008. I was going to be arrested and held in jail on a cash bond for felony bank fraud. She filled out a stop action form and put me on hold. She then said I had until 10am the next morning to pay $599.99. When she called this morning, I had traced my account and I now know who holds my account. She said she was with Cochran and Associates. She wanted names of people I had talk to so they could be in court with me. When I said go ahead with your action, she hung up the phone. You can't go to jail for a debt collection, but the day before I wasn't thinking due to being sick. I checked the information this morning. There is no company associated with this number. It is private.
