Responded to Craigslist vehicle ad. Seller insisted on using Google Checkout as broker. Specified cash only sale by Western union.
I was to receive verification of delivery arrangements from US Army base in WA. the morning following the transfer of funds to Google agent in Madrid where Dugan was supposed to be currently posted.
No delivery information received. Attempts to contact Dugan and Google Checkout unsuccessful. After filing complaint with Western Union, found that cash had been claimed by the "Google agent Richard Coles.
Have since learned that Google Checkout is a legitimate entity which does not accept cash payments, credit card only. The bogus
Google site created by the scammer specified cash only.
Bogus vehicle, Bogus Google site. Out and out scam
