I was emailed on Match.com (username alva964) saying he was going to close his account because he had found love, but his cousin "Mike" saw my profile and was interested. He gave me a description of him being 5'9, 55 years old and a widower of 4 years, as well as his email address - [email protected]. I did not email him, but rather gave my email address for him to contact me, which he did 2 days later. He gave a very verbose description of himself, with all of the things any woman would want to hear. He said he was a petrochemical engineer that owns a company that produces gas fired power plants, as well as doing contract work for Agera Energy, with a past in corporate real estate. He was born and raised in LA and has a mother that is from Mexico. He said he was 49, never been married with no kids. When we texted each other I asked why his cousin said he was 55 and a widower. He said his cousin from Match had screwed up, he was 49 and a widower of 4 years. Well, that right there was a hole in his story and a lie compared to his initial email saying he was never married. I emailed the "cousin" from Match that originally emailed me and asked about it. He said his account on Match had been compromised and 165 emails had been sent to California from his account which he never authorized, which makes sense because he lives in Texas. I cut communication with this "Mike" character before any more time was wasted. The phone number he gave was 310-878-9832 and he said he lives in Santa Monica. The number shows as being in Compton. Also, he could not be found on Google. In case any of the other women contacted from Match have suspicions I wanted to make this complaint so it could be found on Google search.
