I received a call from Canadian Visa Expert on Feb 24 2014 and misled by a sales agent. I thought the agent was calling from Canadian Government and he would assist me on the visa assessment and application. I was persuaded to make a payment of USD$1177 with credit card.
After the call I received an email from Canadian Visa Expert about the package purchased, and I found out that the payment was for Language E-Learning instead of for Canada visa application. I immediately made a phone call to the company on the same day to express my dissatisfication and request to cancel the deal and refund the money. Lauren, one of customer service officers informed that she could not cancel the deal and the package is not refundable.
I filed several complaints against it through Competition Bureau, Ministry of Consumer Services, and ICCRC. However, so far they can do nothing to solve this issue....it's a pity...
