IT IS A SCAM! I heard the dentist explaining it to his dental tech. My dental work would cost $20,000.00. I was told the grant would give me $12,000.00 almost immediately. I didn't have to wait. Of course I told them I couldn't come up with $8,000.00 and so they came up with other cheaper options. After all alternatives were explained I decided on an option which would cost me $7,000.00 When asked how much of that the grant would pay the secretary told me she had to check cause she had already run the $20,000.00. She left the room, came back and told me they would cover $1800.00 which now made the bill $5200.00. Not having that kind of money she said for me to think it over and get back with her in a few days. I left and they have never tried to contact me. When the appt. was scheduled I was told I'd have to pay $50.00 but that it would be refunded. I had insurance to cover my x-rays but conveniently when I arrived the receptionist said they didn't take my insurance. So I was out of $50.00.

The dentists market with the Grant program to get customers. Cosmetic Dentistry is not cheap. They give you an x-rays and quote you an astronomical prince which is always over-inflated so when the grant kicks in you think you have a deal BUT it's still expensive so they try and get you to take out loans. STAY AWAY FROM THIS B.S. PROGRAM. I point blank asked the dentist if it was a scam and he asked me, "Why would someone who doesn't know you give you money? Are they your family?" I then asked, "So do you get the money?" He said "No." I was told I would get my $50.00 refunded. BE WARNED!
