This company run by Carlon Tanner does not follow federal law in regards to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and Adverse Action. In March 2016, Tanner pulled my credit report and denied my rental application, but never bothered to communicate the denial of my application to me. After receiving no communication from Tanner, I sent him an email weeks later asking the outcome of my application. He told me my application was denied based off my credit report, but never sent me any adverse action notice nor did he mention it in his email response.

By law, Beacon Properties was required to send an Adverse Action Notice within 60 days of denying my application. The adverse action notice "miraculously appeared via email when I informed Tanner of the law, yet there was no mention or proof of this notice prior to me reminding him of the law and the required documentation. He claimed he sent it by US Mail, but I never received it nor was the mailing of the notice even discussed or communicated to me. This scammer immediately created an adverse action notice AFTER I informed him of the law, therefore it never existed nor was it mailed to me.

Not only is Carlton Tanner a liar, but he has zero integrity. Property owners beware!
