I received a voice mail on my cell phone at 9:18 AM. A foreign sounding person identified himself as Sean White from Dept of Legal Affairs of the US Dept of Treasury. I need to call him back regarding a matter of enforcement (or injunction?) against me. If I am too busy to call them back, I should get my attorney to call them because this was about to get very messy for me.
I called the number (866 985-8072) this morning - another foreign sounding person answered with the Dept of Legal Affairs/US Dept of Treasury salutation. I asked for Sean White. He indicated he would transfer my call - no one connected so I hung up. I don't what issue was going to be presented. But it is fishy that a real US government agency would use Pakistani/ India personnel to initiate contact for legitimate legal issues.
