I applied for a Federal Grant Online and a few weeks later I received a call from John Marshall stating that I have qualified for a $25,000 Grant but I would have to make a payment of $1,000 to clear all of the paperwork and fees associated with it, he told me to go to a MoneyGram store and send it to Jamaica I did not question it. This has gone on for a year and a half with me sending money to Jamaica to cover fees (Registration,government, Transfer) At the first of the year since I was over the age of 50 the Grant increased to $35,000. I received a Cashier's check in June for $9,840.00 to cover fees, I was instructed to go to MoneyGram and Western Union to send out the money and call back with the Transfer numbers so that the money could picked. I go all of the money sent and 2 days later I receive a call from the Bank stating that the Cashier's check that I had cashed was Counterfeit!! - I have notified Mr John Marshall about this and he is not concerned about it. I have lost 2 Bank Accounts,(1 checking acct) and 1 Credit Card. I have paid out over $7,000.00 of my own money and there is now a Debt Collection for $9,840.00 for the Counterfeit Cashier's Check and $375.00 for the Credit card that I Owe money on due to Charges for Money. I Live on SSDI and do not have any Extra Money. I have told Mr Marshall that I do not have any money to send and Federal Grants do not cost money and that I just want the money that I have paid.
