Consumer First Law Group (Kevin Quinn) contacted me and ststed that he could get me a loan modification on my interest only mortgage. The company required a $2900.00 retatiner fee to get this done. I sent the $2900.00 retainer fee by check in February 20011. The company later said SunTrust had changed the rulees and I needed to be behind on my payments by 2 mothhs. I was not willing to do that. I spoke with attorney Anthony Blackwell and he atated he would see if there was something illegal about the loan, results nothing wrong. I informed them that if they can't get the loan mod, I'd like my money back. He said the retainer fee would be refunded (June 2011) if they can't get the loan mod. Since then I have tried emailing and calling. I get no responces by email and a busy signal when iI call. This has gone on for several months now. Is this a ligitimate company or not? I can be reached at (Personal Information Removed).
