I booked a package to Orlando for four, the quoted price was just over $1,000 including taxes and travel insurance. I hit purchase and got a pop up saying that the hotel portion of my trip had not been booked but the air portion had and to call bookit.com to arrange my hotel. After spending a couple of HOURS on the phone "Brendan" determined that the package deal actually included a credit from the hotel and that my credit card had in fact been charge over $1,700 for my airline tickets alone. He said I would get a credit on my credit card. About 2 weeks later,no credit so I called and was told I would be cut a check. I have called back at least four additional times, on each occasion being told the check was on the way. Last time I asked for a manager and was told check was sent on 10/28 and could take 12-16 business days to arrive. When I said that was ridiculous they responded that they don't control the USPS. I replied that I have NEVER experienced the USPS taking two weeks to get a letter ANYWHERE and that you could get a letter to CHINA in a week. If I don't have my money by the time I am supposed to go on my trip, I am going to pursue them to the end of the earth, I don't care if I have to call them every day for the rest of my life.
