Easy, my book had already been published by Cross. Because of them going under I needed a new publisher. WesBow Press courted me to let them provide their services to me. Even after the Philippine money concerns I finally signed on the dotted line and sent them my manuscript. It tool them a very short time doing a review and telling me their was too much violence in my story. I was very surprised since it had passed theological and content review before of the Southern Baptist Convention and passed. As it turns out there is a set price for rejection. It is not a percentage but rather $400.00 flat. I told them that was a pretty sweet deal. They could reject every submission for one reason or another and still make a pretty good living. Beware WesBow, its all about the money.
