Since my credit wasnt the greatest I was looking for a personal loan to consolidate my bills and get rid of some high interest loans. Well, I saw this online applications for bad credit loans so I filled it out and a couple of weeks later I got a call from a Melissa Grant at Quicken loans who said I was approved for $10,000 .However, there was a $980.00 collateral insurance fee that had to be paid up front, I said I didnt have that much so she said I could pay half upfront and the rest when I get the loan. So, after faxing what looked like official loan paperwork for $20 dollars then another $40 for western union payment of the $490 for the collateral I was waiting for a call from Melissa informing me the money was deposited. Lo and behold there was a "roadblock" the lender decided they wanted it all upfront. I told her I wanted my money refunded and she said she would start the paper work and it would take 3-6 weeks. Well after I sent a few emails to her a couple weeks later I decided to call to see how my refund was coming oddly enough the number 1-877-261-6867 was no longer in service and now I am out over $540 with no loan and in worse shape than I was before the incident. These people are crooks!
