I get this text message on my cell, that I won $100.00, and to call this number - 1-877-327-9530, when I called it they asked for my name & phone number. Then they go on and tell me what I won, plus telling other features I won. They tell me to process the $100.00's, I won, they need a one time processing fee of $1.95. So I told them that was okay. So they charge the $1.95 onto my debit card. But then they keep asking me if I wanted other features and when I told them no, they tell me my gift will arrive in about 5-10 days. But today I found out they charged more than what I allowed them to do. Also when I called them back to ask for a supervisor, they hanged up on me. Then the last time I called and gave them the info my name & number, & told them why I called, they hanged up on me again. After I got hung up again, it dawn on me that this must be a scammed, and they charged me for things I didn't want and I told them that. The lady told me I would only be charged the 1-time fee of $1.95. But I still have gotten lied too. I live on full disabliity and I can't believe that I got scammed. Because the first time I called they told me they were representing AT & T, and this was a special offer, because I was such a valued customer of AT & T. Until I found out today after I called AT & T that that wasn't so. So I am going to be going and closing out that account so there is no other money taken out.

  • I found this report in a Google search for "Daily Savers" -- I also received the text on my cell phone, and called and said "yes". I accepted the two charges for shipping, and am waiting for the savings books I planned to send back. I assumed I received the text because it was the exact amount of $100 gift card I tried to win in a Safeway.com survey...But they DID say something about AT&T -- and now I'm wondering if I was gullible. I noticed two $.02 charges for an "international transaction fee", which should have been a RED FLAG...But I'm hoping this is legitimate...

I'm noting this because I plan to go to my credit union to close my account and open a new one. Better safe than sorry!!! I don't know if this is a scam, but now that I've had time to reflect on my gullible and greedy acceptance of the gift-card-winning, I'm quitting all customer feedback surveys, and I'll apologize profusely to my husband. He can say "I told you so".
