I have been in contact with this company for a couple months discussing the products they offer in detail. Finally we came to an agreement about ordering some samples. They sent me an invoice payable by Western Union. I paid the invoice and they acknowledged receiving the payment. A few days later, they emailed me from a different account saying that their other email address has been hacked and not to send any payments requested with it.

After further discussion with them, they admit that we had been emailing together all that time but that the invoice was sent by someone else who had hacked their email account and my payment went to someone else. They take no responsibility even though it was their own email account that requested the payment sent to that Western Union account.

If they have a security breach (which is likely a lie anyways) then that is their responsibility, and I should not have to pay for the fact that they use a weak password or leave their account open for others to use.

I have attempted to contact them by many means but I am quite sure I just contact the same person each time. So if it is an employee that is scamming me, (not a hacker) then the boss surely isn't aware as I am likely contacting the scammer themselves time and time again, or possibly an accomplice.

They are very much into Alibaba and I have submitted a complaint there. I have also submitted a report to Western Union.
