Some members were issued a full refund to cancel a further 3 months membership that they did not require, whereas I was firstly offered 15%, then 30% of money back. It is very sad that this service relies on this way of working to make profit, especially during Covid where money is tight for a lot of people. Here are the facts:
1. You sign up to a half price deal for 3 months
2. Upon sign up, you are automatically enrolled into a renewal that you can only opt out of by formally writing the the company. You can’t unsubscribe through your account settings like most other subscription services do.
3. Your card details are stored for further payment without consent
4. You receive no notification from them that your membership is due for renewal (and why would you, this is how they make their money)
5. They do not listen to customer feedback on how to improve their service and generate good reviews instead of the large number of bad ones (and fully justifiable!)
6. Some customers get fully refunded, others get offered 15% or 30%, others probably nothing for a service they don’t want.
7. Even though you state you do not want this service, they will make you pay for it because of their poor service and t’s & c’s - as far as I’m concerned it’s a similar practice to stealing and I can see why people use the word ‘fraudulent’ a lot in previous reviews.
8. The job adverts on the site are out of date, not relevant, not advertised at the correct salary, and just adverts pulled in from other platforms. The headhunters are just regular job agencies.

We have to ask the question why they do not issue your money back when you state you don’t want the service for a further 3 months. A reputable business with a decent service would always offer a refund for an advance payment. They would be confident in what they are delivering without relying on such t’s & c’s to keep money they take.
