RUN from this place. Unsanitary and crude management. I bought a bottle of Chief pepper sauce for $2.29 at an ethnic store, THe Caribbean market, at 7505 NH Avenue, Takoma Park, MD 20912. Refund policy is printed on receipt stated it was refundable. Opened it 9 days later, it tasted bad and mold growing inside bottle. Was made in the Caribbean someplace. Poor quality! Returned it on 9th day after date of sale. Stupid shopkeeper Meeraboo Ramroop who lied about his name in store and said his name was "andy", refused to refund the money. Found out his real name later. Said he had a 14-day refund policy and he smelled it and said it 'smelled' good to him. Ignorant! and the indian Idiot cant count days! Just another racist third-world pig! DO not shop there! Food bad, flies, roaches, stacked food on ground, and indian managers dont refund for bad merchandise despite what their signs say or your receipt says. RUN from this nasty place of idiots who still think they are in third world countries where they treat people like crap and sell rotting food! Friend took me there for spoiled bottle of pepper sauce. Never again! I asked Giant Food Supermarkets to order it, they now carry all KINDS of foreign PEPPER sauce AND ethnic foods! GO ELSEWHERE where food standards and sanitation mean SOMETHING! AVOID Dave's West Indian FOODS or The Caribbean Markets like the plague! Bad management and BAD food! and ignorant Indian managers in their stores treat customers like Crap! No consumer rights! Higher quality supermarkets carry all these ethnic foods now. Put these below standard ethnic stores out of business if you value your health. Go elsewhere! Do not buy here! RUN from this place!
