I was looking for an African grey online to get some prices, I then came across a page where they were only $250 plus you get a cage & toys. The cite also said they were out of Philadelpia, PA. I emailed them about the bird and they responded rather quickly and told me it would cost a total of $350. So I thought ok I'll send the money. It was requested that it wa sent via Western Union. So I did, I then emailed them with the mtcn #. I then reiced an email from the pet tranport service asking me to confirm my name and address, so I did. After the conformation of my address I then recieved an email almost immediately stating that I had to make a deposit of $850 for a special cage that had sensors to make sure the bird was safe traveling, and not to worry because the carrier would refund my money on delivery of the bird. I felt a little sceptical but I did it anyway. I went back to Western Union and wired the money, I told the breeder I had sent the $850 as per request for the deposit on the specail transport cage. I emailed the breeder and for 2 hours I did not hear back when prevously the breeder wpould respond to me almost immediately. Then I tried calling the pet transfer company and they did not answer. I then called Western Union to cancel the money sent. I was not able to cancel the one for $350 because it had already been paid out, however, I was able to cancel the one for $850. After they relized the money had been canceled I was getting email after email from the breeder about I can't do that and phonoe call after phone call from the pet transport company. They called 7 times in a row while I was on the phone with Western Union. The pet transport service email had colored font and didn't look legit to me so I did my resesrch and found that the phone # they were calling from was a personal # in Washington. I will attach the email from the pet transport service(City to City Pet Transfer Service.) I found African grey on sawitonline.com, the email on the cite is [email protected] and the email I recieved messages from was [email protected]. I had sent the money to Lori G Parsons in Lenoir NC. I googled her name and puupy scams came up. PLease watch out for these scams I fell for it and lost $350 Plus $104 in wire transer fees that are not refundable. Never wire money if there are no other means of payment it is more than likely a fraud. Please do research before you pay for anything, there are many scammers and I don't want this one to get another person.

i jst checked out the western union in my town is closed and the
closest one is about 50m from me. so i will prefer you send the money
to my daughter in north carolina so once i confirm i can go ahead and
send the bird.
