I was searching for a payday loan online and applied. It turns out my information went to a company that supposedly matches me with a payday loan company for a fee of $30.00. I didn't realize that was the case until I was looking at my checking account online I noticed that in the begining they were crediting and debiting my account by .03 to .05 cents. Then I noticed that $30.00 was taken out of my account two separate times making it a total of $60.00. The number listed beside the transactions were different one of the phone numbers was for a company called DirectFunds Service and that number is 1-888-467-4349 when I called the customer service rep said that when I applied online that they were not the actual lender but a company helping search for a payday loan. So after I spoke with a supervisor I was told that my information went out to another company and that was why I was charged an additional $30.00. When I called the other company and their name is The Loan Verification Dept, their phone number is 1-877-546-8509 they told me I was pre-approved for a loan and even though I didnt accept the loan they charged me $30.00 they also have another phone number which is 1-877-641-1046. I loudly complain about how their company is a scam and they claimed they canceled my application but neither company is not refunding my $30.00 because they claimed it was on the application that I would be charged. BEWARE OF APPLYING FOR PAYDAY LOANS ONLINE. IF YOU KNOW WHO YOU WANT TO BORROW MONEY FROM GO DIRECTLY TO THEIR WEBSITE! THE TWO COMPANIES LISTED ABOVE ARE SCAMS!
