I posted a dress for sale online, and after I had a buyer contact me on craiglist, I tohught I'd found someone to sell it to. They agreed to buy the dress, and told me that they'd send me money through paypal. I got emails that looked like they were from paypal saying that the money was being transferred. They weren't from paypal, they were from the seller. I didn't know this so I went ahead and sent the $125 dress "to his daughter as a wedding present in Nigeria because her fiance was stationed there." It was all a scam, so I lost the dress, and the $20 it cost me to ship the dress to him. He said he was sending me $220 to cover the dress and the shipping, but I have got none of it.

Update: 11/26/2011

He also tried to get $50 from me, and send a message that looked like it was from PayPal trying to get my password. I would love to try and get some of this money back if at all possible.
