BOGUS BILLING & TELEMARKETING SCAMS. Universal Business Publishing (an online business directory service) had telemarketers call & get me to verify place of business. They make the sale pitch. I declined the offer but they billed me anyway for a service I never agreed to have. They also threatened me with legal action for not paying. I feared that they would ruin my credit and/or have me put in jail. I made the mistake of paying these parasites. I learned about my rights to not pay for services I never agreed to when I visited the Better Business Bureau and Federal Trade Commision. I disputed the bill with capital one. capital one temporarily removed the charge. Universal Business Publishing resubmitted the charge and were able to do so. This was even after I informed the creditcard company that they are fraudsters located in Canada . I have a whole list of parasites that you should never talk to, pay or deal with in anyway (They are connected): Universal BusinessPublishing, Yellow Business Ads, Blue Yellow Book, Yellow Blue Media, Kilobytes, Megabytes, and USBR Online. I REPEAT DON'T GIVE THESE PARASITES ANY VERIFICATION WHAT SO EVER. The telemarkters for these fraudulent online business directory services record you verifying place of business. They ask questions that they know will get a "yes" answer and manipulate the recording to make it sound as if you are agreeing to the service. They somehow miss the part of the recording of you refusing the offer.
