I woke up to a phone call about receiving a government grant. I had thought it made sense only because recently I had been checking out info. on government grants. They, "US Financial Resources" promised me a personal grant. No amount was given. I asked and she, (Cindy, I.D.#041-493) just kept saying,"You will receive an email..." It sounded legit, She continued with taking my email, mailing address, confirmed my phone number, and wanted my debit info... then I had a funky feeling, and said... "Why do you need my card number? I'm not going to be charged anything am I? What am I going to be charged???" She told me," A charge of $3.07" for an online membership fee. I figured, that's not too bad, and plus I had gone through one of those "check your credit score for free" sites and it only costing me a one time small membership fee. So, why not...
Come to find out, I turned on my computer to check my email as directed... NO EMAIL. So I go to check out the website provided by this "wonderful" girl "Cindy" and... NO WEBSITE. I don't like this... I tried over a handful of times and NOTHING! So I go check my bank account online. I see a charge reading,&3.07 Online Memberships 866-795-2014, and noticed another transaction four minutes later for $19.95 from MY SAFE LIFE PLEASANT GROV UT... WTF???!?!!?!?!! COINCIDENCE??? I knew I was being scammed!!!
