I had filled out a form through a site that recommended loan lenders. I never accepted any of the loans offered to me, but this site took out $30, saying it was an "application fee." I never went to this website, nor have I ever heard of it. Luckily, their phone number is on my bank statement, (866) 210-1236. When I tried to call them the first few times, it said the number had been disconnected. After calling them several times I finally got through to them. I was on the phone with them for almost a half hour before finally getting a refund.
