Received a notice of interest in purchasing a kitchen table/chairs offered on Craigslist from above individual using the above email address ... didn't send her any money, but did want to alert others to her scam ... here is the email she sent:
"Thanks for your response, I am sorry I cannot come to view due to the nature of my job, I work as a Carpentry and Masonry Specialist in the army.I intend to buy this as a christmas gift for myself but I dont get to see it on christmas. I am one of the few deployed to Brunei and I wont be back till mid February. Work does not allow us to make or receive calls frequently only internet access and that is our major means of communication to the outside world. I am OK with your price and i wouldn't mind seeing a few closely taken pictures. If you dont mind, I am only able to pay through PayPal at the moment as i cant access my bank online. I have my bank attached to PayPal and this is why I prefer this method of payment, I'll need your PayPal email address to make the payment and if you don't have a PayPal account, its pretty easy to set up at www.paypal.com. I hope you consider my offer because i don't want to miss this deal. I'll have a courier person come for pick up and storage after payment has been made and we have sealed the deal. Thanks for understanding, hope to read from you soon.

Well done reporting this. I was just contacted by the same person in Rhode Island who tried to buy my wood stove and wanted my Paypal info on 12-7-11. Here is the conversation via email;
Hi,
I came across your ad and i am interested. I am not so good at

- I too received this exact email regurading furniture I was selling on Craigslist. I sent this person an invoice via paypal. The transaction was making me uncomfortable so I googled the email and found this post. Thank you so much!! I have canceled the invoice and reported the email to paypal.
