The seller was Jeremy Worden, USA, ebay name shane_skywalker. I wrote this entry so every possible customer of him can see what sick things happened to me and can think about it twice if it´s a good idea to buy items from him. He has a lot of good ratings and a few neutrals and negatives. You may have luck and everything works fine. But if not, you don´t want to make transactions with Mr. Worden. Thereby it´s interesting to read his reactions to the comments of his neutral and negative ratings. He accused the buyers of “revenge feedback”, “very rude, insulting & pushy”, “total jerk”, “what a lie”. Interestingly on the other hand I experienced heavy slander from him. But… read the whole.

After three weeks the item wasn´t arrived, while other items I´ve bought to this time from the US were already arrived. For this reason I´ve thought, I just ask the seller if he could check the shipment and wrote:

Hi, the figure is still not arrived. Other items I´ve bought a fortnight later in the US are already here. Please, could you check this? Thanks a lot.

He answered:

It has been shipped. I have the postal receipt to prove it. I will call the FBI and interpool and have them check on it.

What a daffy and absurdly overreaction, I´ve thought. Well, when he´s not willing to be helpful I´ll open a case to solve the problem. And I did.

The answers I got from him within a few hours:

1. You really want to try this "item not received " (Inappropriate Content Removed) with me? I have been selling on eBay for over 3 years and only once have I had an item that was supposedly not delivered. I know the item will be there , or is already there. This is felony mail fraud. I am reporting you to the FBI and interpool! I am sick of international scam artists like you! I will prove that this item has been delivered and you will go to prison. NO MORE! NEVER AGAIN WILL I SHIP ANYTHING TO SOME INTERNATIONAL THIEF!

2. IT has barely been 2 weeks and you have a case open? really? It can take a month for items to ship overseas! This is theivery! I will see you prosecuted to the full extent of the law! You are messsing with the wrong person here. I work with the FBI to catch crooks like you! I hope this is worth the years of prison time you are going to do! You are not getting away with this. WE ARE GOING TO PUT A STOP TO THIS INTERNATIONAL MAIL FRAUD!

3. The item has been delivered you are lying!

4. Do you think you are going to get away with this? YOU ARE NOT!!! I know this game you are playing. Just buy something from different country and say you dont get it. It seems real easy to steal dont it? Well I am not the one. I will be able to prove you are lying. I am giving your address and name to the FBI/Interpool and the police adn post office in your area. Justice will be served! I will not let this fraud and theivery go unpunished. I am an honest person and I am soooo sick of low lifes like you trying to steal. It is disgusting!! Your days of stealing on eBay are over!!!!

5. So, you are being reported to your local post office (It don't look like you get alot of packages so I am sure on of the carriers will remember delivering the package), your local police department (mabey they can get a warrant once I show proof the item was sent), The FBI (they have a special department for international mail faud and tend to take it very seriously), Interpool and eBay. I do not take international mail fraud lightly, it is a felony!!!

6. I just reported this to the FBI. Know that you are now under investigation. THAT PACKAGE WAS SHIPPED WITH A CUSTOMS FORM NUMBER! They will be able to prove you got it! I hope that measly $24.00 was worth it!

7. I have also just reported you to a investigator in Germany!

8. I just reported this to the embassy in Germany! I am just getting started. By the time I am done your name and address will have been sent to every authority in Germany and the USA!

9. I just reported you to EBay as well. If this has happened more than once I would say you are in trouble. I have had over 2,000 transactions and never had a package not delivered. The odds of a package coming up lost is very very rare. It takes a month or more sometimes for a package to go through customs. You don't open a case after only 2 weeks. That looks very suspicious to me. I am not done here by far. I still need to get ahold of your customs office, local post office and your local police department. We are going to find out where that package is! Im not going to allow you to ROB me...

10. Reported to scambook beta. Im just going to let you know each and every time I report you to a different agency so you can see how much heat you are bringing down on yourself for $25.00....

11. Report filled with the United states postal inspection office...

After the last message I reported him to ebay for his abusive mails. Then it stopped. Because ebay remembers you to solute the problem with the other person I wrote him this:

In hope of getting clearness into our "conflict" I write you a second time. I´ve bought the item on Oct. 23rd. Other items, I´ve bought later in the US, are already arrived in the meantime. Therefore on Nov. 12th, after 21 days - so 3 weeks, I´ve thought it might be an idea to contact you. I wrote to you a message and asked, whether you "please could check the shipment". However, instead of being helpful you sent a ridiculous answer "I will call the FBI and interpool and have them check on it.". With this answer you gave me the impression you want to kid me. For this reason I opened a case to resolve the problem. After this you started a ridiculous defamation campaign with threats like "report you to the embassy, to an investigator, to the FBI, to the postal inspection office etc.". Moreover you wrote a defamatory statement at scambook.com. Mr. Worden, perhaps it might be an idea to reflect yourself, whether your behaviour is appropriate? I don´t know what the hell is happened to you on ebay, but for myself I can say I just would like to receive the item. I will close the case immediately when it is clarified where the parcel is stucked.

He answered:

I am sick of fradulent claims from international buyers. It takes a while for items to ship overseas and you open a case after only 2 weeks? You just want your money and the item. I am not standing for this type of fraud anymore!

My answer:

And I am sick of reading your flame mails. I can´t change things happened to you in the past on ebay. But your experiences with others give no reason to do what you´ve done now. You´ve written 11 hyper choleric messages within a few hours and write a defamatory entry on scambook - without any reason but your emotions. I am what you claim for yourself: honest. I just want the item. So when you have given it to a postal service - why don´t you ask them for help to get knowledge where the item stucks? Why don´t you upload a copy from the receipt the post office gave you and send me the link I can see it? I still see not a single effort like "don´t worry, I´ll check the sending".

When you are honest, you´d better leave the things how they are. I´ve not opened a case abruptly without any reason after 2 weeks. I´ve bought the item on Oct. 23rd. To the 31st I count 9 days. From Nov. 1st to Nov. 12th I count 12 days. 9+12 = 21 days = 3 weeks. After 3 weeks I´ve just ask you for checking the shipment. Because YOU did not take it serious and answered with those ridiculous FBI- and Interpool-rubbish I have opened the case. So better YOU think about the chain of reactions and do not blame an ebay customer for robbing you. What you have done in the opposite is nothing else than defamation and that is a crime by yourself. You should think about this before accusing me for internet fraud. Til now I have spent 25 $ and still have not the item, mate! Man, calm down!

As I said: as soon I´ve got the item I´ll close the case. I hope the delay is just caused by the customs duty and the parcel will arrive soon. You are totally wrong with your view on me. From my point of view an apology would be appropriate for all those bloody (Inappropriate Content Removed) you´ve written. And delete this scambook entry. Ebay gives us time to clarify things till the 24th.

You and I both know I cannot track a package shipped first class...Tracking on international packages is very expensive. I assume the people I am dealing with are honest and will not open a case after only 2 weeks. So now you get the item and the money. I will never ever again ship anything inernational. Good luck getting another seller to ship first class to you. I did contact the FBI and several other investiagation agencys. Mabey they will be able to prove it was delivered using the customs form number. If it really has not got there I suggest you contact the customs office in your country. There is nothing I can do about it other than report it..I have a receipt proving I shipped the item.

My answer:

It´s tiring when you display things as the truth, but it´s not. No, I didn´t know it´s not possible for you to track the shipment. And no, I did not open a case after 2 weeks, because from Oct. 23rd to Nov. 12th it´s 21 days and not 14. And no, I did not open a case, because 3 weeks are gone, but because of your "FBI-mail" that gave me the impression you´re kidding me. And no, I won´t get the money and the item. When you read the Paypal conditions on https://cms.paypal.com/en/cgi-bin/?&cmd=_render-content&content_ID=ua/BuyerProtection_full#13.%20Protection%20for%20Buyers. under 13.4. there is written, that Paypal will ask the seller for a proof of shipment. So, if you have a receipt from your postal service, I won´t get any money and have paid 25 bucks for nothing. THAT is the reality and nothing else. So I have to ask you: why are you making such a noise when you´ve got a receipt???

And even if you have no receipt and I would get a refund and weeks later also the figure, you can be sure I´ll paypal the refund back to you. This probably doesn´t fit into your own world of expectations, but you´ll see it.

Probably the whole misunderstanding is caused by your first answer. I had never thought you meant this FBI-thing serious, because these guys are responsible for fighting terrorism, drugs, violant and economic crimes within the US - and you asked them for help for a bloody 25 § Star Wars figure sent to overseas. In my eyes this is extremely disproportional. But well, people are different.

He answered:

I have a receipt but not a tracking number, so basicly I am screwed. Like I said before tracking is very expensive so I ship first class and hope I am dealing with an honest person who will not claim the item was not received. Out of over 1500 transactions I have never had an item not delivered. I guess I have been lucky that most people are honest. The FBI has a whole department for international mail fraud. It is a felony...It not really the matter of how much it is, its the principal.

On December 5th the item fortunately arrived after all. However, the figure was not in the condition described on ebay and the pictures displayed a perfect C-3PO-figure, the golden gloss of it made it impossible to see any flaws. Furthermore the defamatory statement on scambook still existed. So I wrote:

Mr. Worden, fortunately the figure is arrived yesterday and I close the case now. Seems you´ve been pretty wrong in your estimation of the situation... Because you claimed for yourself to be honest, it´s interesting now to see there are several flaws with paint off some millimetres long and noticeable at first glance on top of skull, at eyebrows, elbows, upper back and lower parts of the body. Furthermore all limbs are very tight - with exception of the left arm, that is loose. Your description in opposite was "Joint's are very tight; Color is great (NO discoloration); Paint is nice with no visable wear, may have micro wear only". So far to the topic "being honest". Especially in preview of your rating I ask you now the last time to delete your defamatory statement at scambook.com.

He did not react and his slander on http://www.scambook.com/report/view/34994/jens-albrecht-Other-for-25.00-on-11-13-2011 is still not deleted. For this reason I´ve written now my own entry here to clarify the things.
