I called for a $19.99 Slice-O-Matic on 11/5/2011. After listening to everything else the wanted me to buy(wasting about 100 minutes on my phone); the recording said that if I ordered 2, the shipping and handling would be: $6.95 for both.
Then I told the individual, (after I gave all my information); "never mind, this sounds like a scam, cancel this order, I do not want this".
Today, December 8, 2011; I look on my account and see '$76.97 pending cash purchase' on my account. I call the 800-777-4034 number noted on this transaction. I got hung up on 4 times after just giving my zip code info. The 5th call, I finally got through, only to hear "we are sorry, this order is already being processed, and can NOT be cancelled". I then asked for a supervisor, whom I told that I was going to contact the Attorney General in N.J. if I am not satisfied that this will be cancelled TODAY! She gave me a cancellation # 08174888 stating that the order had an "incorrect address" and my funds will be returned in full in 10 days! NOT good enough, I told her I want this expedited and MY money returned to me TODAY! She (Sam employee # 8801) said that the "higher ups" will have to okay this and will call me back within 72 hours. NOT good enough. I told her, I want my money back AND hear from someone TODAY by 5:00 p.m. EST.
