I saw this product advertised on Facebook sometime in October this year, as it was said to be a free sample on which I would only have to pay the post and packing I applied giving my Credit card details for the company to take the cost from for that, I heard nothing more from them until one of the two different expected bottles arrived - Anti ageing treatment serum (DERMOLOGY), as the other of the two had not then come I did not open the one that had; approximately two weeks later the second expected bottle came, I did not open it at once, and shortly after this my Barclaycard statement came and I was horrified to see that I had been charged £77:14 for the delivery of the bottle of the - so called - Perfect Radiance; I at once wrote a letter saying that the only thing I had ordered was the free sample, and explaining that I did not want the goods if there was a charge for them other than postage and packing as at my age (76), and because severely disabled on a low income I would never consider paying for this kind of thing, I enclosed the bottle of 'Perfect Radiance' and apologised for not including the bottle of 'Anti ageing treatment serum' as I had mislaid it, but that I would send that also when I found it, and that in the meantime I expected to find a refund on my Barclaycard of the amount charged, I sent the package by recorded delivery; I have never had a reply: since then I have written to the company again twice, and e-mailed them - again no replies - and telephoned them, both on the number on their invoice and on the number given to me by the lady on the Barclaycard 'phone, both times the telephone operator's 'voice' informed me that the "number had not been recognised": today, fearing that further amounts may be taken from my Barclaycard I went to my local branch of Barclay's bank and paid off the balance on my card, and telephoned Barclaycard to completely cancel my card as I did not want to ever use it again; this still leaves me £77:14 out of pocket for when I reported all this to Barclaycard they said they could do nothing, and I must contact the company - I had already told Barclaycard that I had done this, but had receives no reply - and that there was no way that they could help me to get a refund of what my card had been charged.
The Personal Banker in Barclay's Bank looked on GOOGLE and found many instances of this company's bad practices, which is why as soon as I returned home I contacted you in the hopes that there may be some way that you can get my money back for me, or if not that, then somehow bring the force of the law down on them.
